For the second year in a row, 17 local service organizations will set-up booths at the Salem Chamber to showcase their volunteer opportunities for Young Professionals in our area.

"The annual volunteer fair is a great way for Young Professionals to find out about the needs within the community," said Leslie Thompson, this year's Chair of Salem YoungPros. "It truly helps connect volunteer passions with the opportunity that fits best for them."

17 area service organizations will be featured at the Volunteer Fair. Also stopping by as a part of the event will be Marion County District Attorney Walt Beglau to share his thoughts on why volunteers can make such a difference in our community. Beglau brings passion and energy to his position and has very real stories of the challenges we face in helping children and families.

YoungPros are encouraged to come in and out during the hour and a half event to learn at their leisure and as their schedules allow. Sign-up opportunities for each organization will be made available for Young Professionals looking to commit to a volunteer role the day of the fair.
