Art Bobrowitz speaks with passion at Mission Mill Museum December
15, 2005 As
a licensed commercial pilot, Bobrowitz used an airplane analogy to help
describe one of the most fundamental truths about leadership. "No
matter what you do when the times are tough, fly the airplane,"
stated Bobrowitz. Art's
presentation to Young Professionals on December 14th emphasized the
importance of attitude, leadership, and listening in organizations. "Teams
were never met to substitute for leadership in an organization,"
said Bobrowitz. "Every team has to have a leader."
Also joining the celebration was Tim Duffy, owner of Grand Vines located
on the corner of Court and High streets in downtown Salem. Duffy
provided wine varieties for the evening. Young professionals were also
treated to complimentary tickets for Mission Mill Museum's "Magic
at the Mill" thanks to Executive Director Maureen Thomas. |
