Powers brings full-fledged enthusiasm

May 17, 2006

The first ever YoungPros breakfast was held at beautiful Creekside Golf Club in south Salem. 45 YoungPros took advantage of the 8 a.m. breakfast featuring Life Coach Jennifer Powers on Goal Setting.

“Jennifer’s presentation was phenomenal," said Sara DeCoster. "She really drove home how important it is to have a method towards your goal setting. As young professionals we truly need direction and support to be successful and Jennifer is an amazing resource for those things!”

Powers focused on the importance of taking true ownership of your personal or professional goals. In particular, her presentation touched on five commitments that must be fulfilled to set the foundation for goal achievement. Those commitments are mental, verbal, written, physical, and visual.

A number of YoungPros expressed their appreciation to Powers for her enlightening presentation to start off their Wednesday morning. Also included as part of the breakfast were self-introductions of all Young Professionals in attendance.

On Friday, a select group of YoungPros will head to the Salem Armory to enjoy the Salem Stampede basketball team take on the Seattle Mountaineers. Also in the works, is the main YoungPros event for June which will be taking place at Bush Barn with a focus on the local arts. Details to come.
