Stampede lose in overtime thriller May
19, 2006
A handful of YoungPros banded together to enjoy Friday night's Salem
Stampede game against the Seattle Mountaineers. The Stampede (8-7) lost
in overtime 133-126. Pictured
at left are YoungPros Brent Glogau of Edward Jones, Luba Mikhlin of
Comcast and YoungPros Chair Tom Hoffert of Don Pancho Authentic Mexican
Foods.
The Salem Stampede are part of the International Basketball League or
IBL With a 22-second shot clock as opposed to the NBA's 24-seconds, the
IBL guarantees fast paced basketball entertainment for their fans.
New teams entering the league in 2007 include Las Vegas, Jersey City,
Detroit, and Buffalo to name a few. The Stampede are currently ranked
8th out of 12 in the West with a record of 8 wins and 7 losses. They
have a total of 5 games left in their first season as a team in
