60 YoungPros took to the E.Z. Orchards farm located on the outskirts of Northeast Salem. This unique YoungPros event open to kids as well gave upcoming leadership some awareness regarding agriculture and its economic impact on the Salem area economy.

As part of the event, YoungPros heard a talk by Owner John Zielinski, enjoyed the infamous E.Z. Orchard doughnuts and apple cider, and took home a pumpkin of choice. Animals, corn fields, and bales of hay added a special feel to the evening.

"There are over 200 different crops grown in the Willamette Valley," said Zielinski (pictured above). "The land here at E.Z. Orchards is prime farmland. You can really grow anything here."

The Zielinski farm produces a number of different crops including pears, apples, and corn. The farm market located on the corner of Hazel Green and Cordon Roads has some of the best produce and gourmet foods you can find many of which are straight from the farm.

Next month YoungPros will head to the Historic Elsinore Theatre in downtown Salem for a VIP experience which will include lunch and more compliments of Executive Director for the Elsinore Steve Martin.
