The Breathtaking Elsinore Theatre

November 30, 2006

Over 70 YoungPros experienced the Historic Elsinore Theatre in downtown Salem for November's event. The newly refurbished Elsinore took many by surprise.

"This is the first time I have been back since the renovation," said Jeff Nine, Owner of graphic design company Studio Nine Creative. "It's absolutely amazing."

Featured as part of the luncheon were local artists Barb Narkaus and Terry Isaac who have grown their professional reputations to an international level. Isaac's paintings focus on animals in their natural setting while Narkaus specializes in natural golf course paintings. Both are known across the nation and beyond our borders for their artistic work.

Also joining the YoungPros was Executive Director of the Elsinore Theatre Steve Martin and Organist Rick Parks. Martin shared some history and current happenings at the venue while Parks showcased the acoustics of the hall.

Monthly events continue as professionals in the Salem area continue building a knowledge base about their community while networking with other up and coming leaders.

"These are the future leaders of Salem," said Jerry Crane, Loan Officer with Professional Mortgage Corporation of the YoungPros group at the Elsinore.

Those future leaders will meet again in December with a special Dinner Etiquette event at the Mission Mill Museum Dye House featuring a  unique catered 3-course dinner by j.james Restaurant.
