Over 60 YoungPros headed in and out of the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, March 21st for our March monthly event featuring service organizations.

The service organizations joining us included:

- Volunteer & Mentor Center of the Mid-Willamette Valley

- March of Dimes

- United Way

- Marion Polk Food Share

- Shangri-La Corporation

- Family Building Blocks

- Habitat for Humanity

- Salem Art Association

- Cascade Pacific Council of the Boy Scouts of America

- Habitat for Humanity of the Mid-Willamette Valley

- Willamette Humane Society and

- The Willamette Chapter of the American Red Cross

The event was one of the first of its kind to specifically connect Salem's next generation of leaders with volunteer opportunities that they can see themselves becoming passionate about. Also, Jeanette Moore of AmeriTitle shared some of her perspectives on how volunteering can really serve as a strategic business move.
