Ropes Course proves to be a Big Hit! Thursday, August 30th 2007
About 50 YoungPros took the challenge of the summer at the Youth With a Mission Ropes Course about 2 miles south on Battlecreek Road from Kuebler in South Salem.
The night included plenty of Garlic Jim's Pizza, compliments of Jerry Crane of Professional Mortgage Corporation and great activities.
One of the most popular games was the "Rock, Paper, Scissors" Championship. Each YoungPro battled against others for the crown. Each time a YoungPro won, the loser of the round would latch on to the train behind the winner and begin chanting that YoungPro's name.
The final battle (which
included to long trains of YoungPros) included Liz Heuberger of
Oregon Community Credit Union and Aimee Akimoff of Willamette University MBA.
The final game was highly anticipated as shown in the picture to the
right.
The Ropes Course event was also the official announcement of Willamette University MBA as the YoungPros 3rd Presenting Sponsor for the 3rd Year. Marketing Director Russell Yost (pictured below with YoungPros Chair Tom Hoffert) shared his excitement to have the MBA Program involved as a partner and happily passed out karabiners (used for climbing) and Power Bars.
